Throughout 2021, BeamNG collaborated with thyssenkrup Components Technology Hungary Ltd (thyssenkrupp) on developing a prototype software for autonomous vehicle testing.

BeamNG´s custom virtual environment allowed thyssenkrupp to test new functions almost immediately, thus reduce testing time on track. It was also possible to test dangerous situations and edge cases for driving scenarios with high accuracy and reliability. Most of the virtual tests were later compared and validated using real test vehicles. Thyssenkrupp was a great partner to work with and we appreciate the strong relationship we have developed over the years.

With BeamNG virtual test environments it is possible to make smoother development cycles and speed up integration processes which automatically reduce costs on the manufacturer side.
